Contender Series Weigh-in Results: Ty Flores, Dustin Jacoby Cleared for Featured Bout

Ty Flores and Dustin Jacoby hit their contracted marks on Monday ahead of their featured light heavyweight bout on the Season 4 premiere of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Flores tipped the scales at 204.5 pounds, while Jacoby checked in a 203.5 pounds. All but one of the 10 fighters set to compete on Week 1 of the Contender Series made weight without issue. Only Damonte Robinson, who weighed 157 pounds on his first attempt for a lightweight clash with Kenneth Cross (155.5), initially missed the mark. Robinson was given an additional hour to make weight and even after shaving his head, still came in heavy at 156.5 pounds.

Dana White’s Contender Series takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Tuesday and streams on ESPN+ beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Flores enters the matchup on a five-bout winning streak that includes four victories inside the distance. The 26-year-old Missouri native has compiled a 7-2 career mark while competing for organizations such as Shamrock FC, Legacy Fighting Alliance and Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Jacoby, meanwhile, is a well-traveled veteran with experience in the UFC, Bellator, World Series of Fighting and Titan FC. He also competed in Kickboxing for Glory. Jacoby competed in MMA for the first time in more than four years at Sparta Combat League 74, where he outpointed UFC vet Cody East in June 2019.
