Dakota Cochrane vs. Ciro Rodrigues Tops Legacy Fighting Alliance 25 in Omaha

A welterweight clash between Dakota Cochrane and Ciro Rodrigues will serve as the main event for Legacy Fighting Alliance 25.

The promotion recently announced the event and headliner. LFA 25 takes place at Ralston Arena in Omaha, Neb., on Oct. 20. The main card will televised on AXS-TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

A 41-fight veteran, Cochrane has competed for promotions such as Bellator MMA, Resurrection Fighting Alliance, Victory Fighting Championship and Titan FC. He enters the matchup on the strength of back-to-back wins against Maki Pitolo and David Castillo under the VFC banner. Cochrane is 29-12 over the course of his pro career.

Rodrigues, meanwhile, has won eight of his last nine bouts and is coming off a first-round TKO of UFC veteran David Michaud at LFA 19 on Aug. 18. “Bad Boy” is 21-6 overall with one no contest as a professional, with 13 triumphs by KO/TKO and four via submission.
