Damir Hadzovic vs. Yancy Medeiros Pulled from UFC Fight Night 188

UFC Fight Night 188 is down to 12 bouts after a proposed lightweight clash between Damir Hadzovic and Yancy Medeiros was pulled from the card.

The promotion announced that Hadzovic had to withdraw from the event due to non-COVID 19 medical reasons. UFC Fight Night 188 takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a bantamweight tilt pitting Cody Garbrandt against Rob Font.

Hadzovic is 3-4 in UFC competition and is coming off back-to-back losses against Christos Giagos and Renato Carneiro.

Medeiros, meanwhile, has lost three straight within the Las Vegas-based promotion. Most recently, he dropped a three-round verdict to Lando Vannata at UFC Fight Night 167.
