Danis, who was originally slated to face Max Humphrey at Bellator 221 on May 11 in Chicago, will now face the same opponent at Bellator 222 on June 14. Sherdog.com confirmed the change with a promotion official after Danis initially announced the news on "Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show.”

Bellator 222 takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York and features a clash between Lyoto Machida and Chael Sonnen. Additionally, Neiman Gracie will face the Rory MacDonald-Jon Fitch winner in the promotion’s welterweight grand prix.

Danis, a decorated grappler, made his MMA debut at Bellator 198, where he submitted Kyle Walker with a toe hold 1:38 into the opening stanza last April. Humphrey owns a 3-2 career mark and is coming off a 16-second technical knockout loss on a regional card in July 2018.
