UFC 178 could arguably be headlined by several different fights on the pay-per-view card.
The Sept. 27 event -- which emanates from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas -- is so stacked, that the nearly three-year wait to finally see Dominick Cruz inside the Octagon again will be featured during the prelims.

What oversaturation?
UFC UFC 178 was originally slated to feature a light heavyweight title fight pitting Jon Jones against Daniel Cormier. However, the PPV took a minor hit when “Bones” was forced to withdraw due to injury.
Zuffa officials responded by bumping the UFC 177 co-main event between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso to Sept. 27 and by adding an equally satiating lightweight affair in Donald Cerrone against Eddie Alvarez.
The remainder of the pay-to-view segment of the event features Tim Kennedy taking on Yoel Romero, Cat Zingano returning to face Amanda Nunes and Conor McGregor attempting to continue his meteoric rise at featherweight against Dustin Poirier.
The card kicks off with two scraps on UFC Fight Pass, as Jon Tuck faces Kevin Lee and Manny Gamburyan takes on Cody Gibson.
