Ed Herman, Kurt Holobaugh Receive Indefinite Medical Suspensions Following Strikeforce Finale Five fighters from Saturday’s Strikeforce “Marquardt vs. Saffiedine” card have been issued medical suspensions by the Oklahoma State Athletic Commission.
UFC veteran Ed Herman, who tapped to a kimura from Ronaldo Souza in the first round of their featured middleweight encounter, was suspended indefinitely and must provide medical clearance before he can return to active competition. Kurt Holobaugh also received an indefinite suspension after dropping a unanimous decision to promotional veteran Pat Healy in a preliminary lightweight scrap.

Dion Staring: Suspended 30 days for precautionary reasons following TKO defeat
Ed Herman: Suspended indefinitely; must provide commission with medical clearance on right shoulder, hand and elbow

Anthony Smith: Suspended 30 days for cuts over left eye
Mike Bravo: Suspended 30 days for precautionary reasons following TKO defeat
