A bantamweight clash pitting Frankie Edgar against Pedro Munhoz has been moved from UFC 252 on Aug. 15 to a UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 22.

Combate, which first brought word of the change, reports that that Edgar vs. Munoz will serve as the headliner for the Aug. 22 event. The 135-pound contest was initially slated for July 11 before being relocated to July 15 and then to UFC 252 after Munhoz tested positive for COVID-19.

The UFC card is also expected to include a middleweight clash between Yoel Romero and Uriah Hall as well as a women’s strawweight showdown pitting Michelle Waterson against Angela Hill. No main event has been formally announced.

Edgar will make his 135-pound debut after successful stints at featherweight and lightweight in the UFC. “The Answer” is currently on a two-bout skid after falling to Max Holloway in a 145-pound title fight at UFC 240 and suffering a first-round TKO loss against Chan Sung Jung at UFC Fight Night 165.

Munhoz has won seven of his last nine Octagon appearances dating back to 2016. Most recently, however, he dropped a unanimous decision to Aljamain Sterling at UFC 238 in June 2019.
