Albert Tumenov has become the latest free agent to leave the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The eight-time Octagon veteran announced via Instagram that he has signed with Absolute Championship Berkut. Other former UFC talents that have joined the Russian promotion include Takeya Mizugaki, Luke Barnatt, Elvis Mutapcic and Zach Makovsky. Ex-Bellator fighter Bubba Jenkins also recently inked a deal with ACB.

“I am very glad to [compete] in the organization of ACB,” Tumenov wrote. “I will try to please everyone, with beautiful spectacular battles. See you soon!”

After dropping a split decision to Ildemar Alcantar in his UFC debut, Tumenov reeled off five consecutive triumphs in the Octagon, including three via first-round knockout. During that time, “Einstein” earned notable wins over Lorenz Larkin and Alan Jouban. The 25-year-old Russian ended his promotional tenure with back-to-back submission losses to Leon Edwards and Gunnar Nelson.
