Elizeu ‘Capoeira’ Injured, Out of Jack Marshman Bout at UFC Fight Night 127 in London
The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s return to England is down a fighter.
Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos has been forced out of his UFC Fight Night 127 bout with Jack Marshman due to a knee injury. Combate was first to report the injury suffered by the 31-year-old “Capoeira,” who has won four straight in the UFC.

Marshman, 28, earned his UFC bid after ripping off a seven-fight winning streak on the United Kingdom’s regional MMA scene, including earning the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship middleweight title. Since entering the UFC in November 2016, the Welshman has alternated wins and losses. “The Hammer” topped Magnus Cedenblad and Ryan Janes, while dropping bouts to Thiago Santos and most recently, Antonio Carlos Jr. this past October.
The UFC has yet to announce a replacement for the injured Brazilian.
UFC Fight Night 127 is headlined by a heavyweight clash between former UFC heavyweight kingpin Fabricio Werdum and ex-Bellator champ Alexander Volkov.
