Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos vs. Neil Magny Booked for UFC Rochester on May 18

Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos will get the step up in competition he’s been seeking when he meets Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 151 in Rochester, N.Y.

Promotion officials announced the welterweight booking on Wednesday. UFC Rochester takes place at Blue Cross Arena on May 18 and is headlined by a 170-pound clash pitting Rafael dos Anjos against Kevin Lee. The card will stream in its entirety on ESPN+.

Dos Santos has quietly compiled a seven-fight winning streak in the UFC. Most recently, the 32-year-old Brazilian known as “Capoeira” tapped out Curtis Millender with a rear-naked choke at UFC Wichita on March 9. He is 21-5 over the course of a career that began in 2009.

Magny, meanwhile, had a two-bout winning streak halted in a fourth-round knockout loss against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Buenos Aires this past November. “The Ultimate Fighter 16” cast member owns notable victories over the likes of Carlos Condit, Johny Hendricks, Hector Lombard, Kelvin Gastelum and Tim Means, among others.
