Errol Spence Jr. vs. Shawn Porter Weigh-in Results: Welterweight Title Unification Set



A pivotal welterweight unification fight happens on Saturday as Errol Spence Jr. takes on Shawn Porter, and both men have made weight.

The two are fighting for the WBC welterweight title and IBF welterweight title. Spence Jr. (25-0, 21 KOs) last fought back in March when he beat Mikey Garcia by decision to retain the IBF title. He has defended the IBF strap three times, winning it back in May 2017 by knocking out Kell Brook.

Porter (30-2-1, 17 KOs) is coming off of a decision win over Yordenis Ugas to retain the WBC welterweight title. In the fight before he beat Danny Garcia to win the vacant belt. Porter holds notable wins over Andre Berto, Adrien Broner and Paulie Malignaggi.

Also on the undercard is Anthony Dirrell (33-1-1, 24 KOs) defending his WBC super middleweight title against David Benavidez (21-0, 18 KOs). Dirrell won the vacant belt in last time out against Avni Yildirim. Benavidez is the former WBC super middleweight champ, but was stripped due to a positive test for cocaine.
