Featherweight, Bantamweight Tilts Added to July 22 UFC Hamburg Lineup
A bantamweight and featherweight bout have been added to the
upcoming
UFC Fight Night 134 fight card.
Bantamweights Davey Grant and Manny Bermudez will meet on July 22 at Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Grant is coming off a submission loss to Damian Stasiak at UFC 204. Bermudez earned a second-round submission win over Albert Morales at UFC on Fox 28. The fighters were slated to lock horns at UFC Fight Night 130, however, Grant suffered a staph infection and was pulled from the bout.
Featherweights Nad Narimani and Khalid Taha will make their Octagon debut in Hamburg. In his last fight, Taha (12-1) earned a second-round submission win over Hamza AlKooheji at Brave CF 12 “KHK Legacy.” Former Cage Warriors Fighting Championship featherweight champion Narimani was expected to make his major league debut against Nasrat Haqparast at UFC Fight Night 127, but Haqparast pulled out of the fight with an eye infection.
