Featherweight Bout Between Newcomers Austin Arnett, Cory Sandhagen Completes UFC on Fox 27

UFC on Fox 27 has a last-minute addition.

On Monday evening, Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced that this coming Saturday night’s card will feature a featherweight bout between promotional newcomers Austin Arnett and Cory Sandhagen. The UFC on Fox 27 card is now complete with 11 bouts.

UFC on Fox 27 emanates from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C., headlined by a middleweight rematch between former Strikeforce middleweight champion “Jacare” Ronaldo Souza and Derek Brunson.

The 26-year-old Arnett last saw action at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series 4 on Aug. 1, where he lost a unanimous verdict to Brandon Davis, who made a successful UFC debut this past Saturday night at UFC 220. The Davis loss broke a 13-fight winning streak for the Idaho native.

Sandhagen will be competing for the second time in just eight days. At Legacy Fighting Alliance 31 this past Friday, the Colorado native knocked out Jose Aguayo in just 67 seconds.
