“Welcome back, Andrei Arlovski!” White wrote.

Arlovski, 35, has gone 6-1 with one no contest in his last eight fights, most recently dispatching Andreas Kraniotakes last November in his home country of Belarus. Prior to that triumph, the Strikeforce veteran competed three times for the World Series of Fighting, besting Devin Cole and Mike Kyle while coming up short against Anthony Johnson.

The Jackson-Wink MMA rep began his pro career in 1999 and joined the UFC the following year, winning the interim heavyweight championship by submitting Tim Sylvia in 2005 before being promoted to undisputed champion. Arlovski then relinquished the title to Sylvia in their 2006 return bout and failed to recapture the gold in their UFC 61 rubber match. The veteran has earned 15 of his 21 wins by knockout and owns notable victories over Fabricio Werdum, Roy Nelson and Ben Rothwell.
