The heavyweight has signed a contract with PFL following a 4-1 stint in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Willis confirmed the deal on social media following an initial report from MMAjunkie.com.

Willis was released from the UFC despite winning four of his five appearances. During his Octagon tenure, “Big Pretty” earned notable wins over Mark Hunt and Chase Sherman before dropping a unanimous decision to Curtis Blaydes in his final bout at UFC Fight Night 148 in March 2019.

Willis previously competed for World Series of Fighting in 2016 before it was rebranded as PFL. In his lone outing, the American Kickboxing Academy product scored a second-round TKO of Juliano Coutinho. Willis is 8-2 over the course of a professional career that began in 2012.
