Glory: Collision 3 takes place on Oct. 23 in Arnhem, The Netherlands and is headlined by heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven defending his title against former K-1 champion and UFC veteran Alistair Overeem. Earlier this month, Sherdog.com reported that Jamal Ben Saddik and Benjamin Adegbuyi were set to rematch in the co-main slot on the card.
In another new addition to the event, Hamicha returns after his first-round finish at Glory 78 on Sept. 4. With three straight first round knockouts, Hamicha is taking on Glory veteran Eyevan Danenberg, who is coming off a first-round TKO finish of Yassine Ahaggan at Glory 65.
Meanwhile, former K-1 champion Antonio Plazibat is also returning to action after a win over Tarik Khababez at Glory 78. He will be taking on James McSweeney, who recently retired from MMA and announced his signing with Glory. McSweeney, a training partner of Overeem who will be making his Glory debut, boasts 53 wins and 31 knockouts on his kickboxing record.
Sherdog.com has also confirmed five other bouts for the card: Donegi Abena vs. Sergej Maslobojov; Alim Nabiyev vs. Troy Jones; Stoyan Koprivlenski vs. Bruno Gazani; Ertugrul Bayrak vs. Matej Penaz and Michael Duut vs. John King.
Glory Collision 3 takes place Oct. 23 at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands. The pay per view airs at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT and can be purchased exclusively at GLORYFights.com for $24.99.
