Tucker (10-1) lost a unanimous decision to Rick Glenn at UFC 215 last year, but before that he had won 10 fights in a row, defeating Sam Sicilia in his UFC debut back in Feb. 2017. Meanwhile, Soukhamthath (12-6) will also be looking to rebound after losing to Sean O’Malley back in March.
Tucker will compete in his native Canada for the 12th time in his professional MMA career, having never fought outside of Canadian soil.
Soukhamthath brings a 1-3 UFC record entering UFC Moncton, with all three losses coming by way of decision. A TKO victory over Luke Sanders in Dec. 2017 remains his sole Octagon win thus far.
Elsewhere on the card, light heavyweights Misha Cirkunov will take on Patrick Cummins and Gian Villante is set to fight UFC veteran Ed Herman.
