Glory 19 Update: Andy Ristie-Steve Moxon Matchup Added to Feb. 6 Card in Virginia
Andy Ristie will meet Steve Moxon on the
Glory 19 undercard in Hampton, Va., on Feb. 6.
Glory World Series officials announced the bout earlier this week. The card features a main event pitting Rico Verhoeven against Errol Zimmerman, along with the return of Joe Schilling, as he faces Robert Thomas.
Ristie (43-4-1, 23 KO’s) is coming off a spectacular finish of Ky Hollenbeck at Glory 17 in Los Angeles. “The Machine” was nearly the promotion’s lightweight champion but was finished late in the final round of his bout with Davit Kiria at Glory 14.
Moxon (38-10-1, 23 KO’s) was last in action against Aikpracha Meenayothin in China earlier this month. A win over Ristie would arguably be the biggest of his career and likely put him in contention for Kiria’s title.
