Juan Adams will be getting his wish.
Ever since Greg Hardy joined the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Adams has been calling Hardy out for a fight. He has said he ‘hates’ him in multiple interviews and ends tweets with #FGregHardy. According to ESPN, the Las Vegas-based promotion is finalizing a bout between the two heavyweights for UFC San Antonio on July 20.
Hardy is coming off of a knockout win over Dmitry Smoliakov at UFC Fort Lauderdale for his first UFC win after being disqualified against Allen Crowder in his debut. The former NFL star is now 4-1 in his career with all four wins coming by the way of knockout.
Adams, meanwhile, suffered his first professional loss last time out, falling to Arjan Singh Bhullar at UFC Ottawa. Before that, the 27-year-old won his Octagon debut, defeating Chris de la Rocha by TKO at UFC on Fox 31.
UFC San Antonio goes down July 20 at the AT&T Center with the main card airing on ESPN.
