Heavyweights Jared Rosholt, Timothy Johnson to Meet at UFC Fight Night in Nashville

A heavyweight clash between Jared Rosholt and Timothy Johnson has been added to the UFC Fight Night "St. Preux vs. Teixeira" lineup in Nashville on Aug. 8.
Promotion officials announced the bout on Thursday. The UFC Fight Night bill takes place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. , and is headlined by a light heavyweight tilt between Ovince St. Preux and Glover Teixeira.
Rosholt is 4-1 in the Octagon since making his debut with a three-round verdict over Walt Harris in November 2013. The 28-year-old Team Takedown representative was successful in his first appearance of 2015, as he stopped Josh Copeland via technical knockout 3:12 into round three at UFC 185.
Johnson, meanwhile, made his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas” on April 4, when he stopped Shamil Abdurakhimov with three seconds remaining in the opening stanza of their bout. Johnson is 9-1 as a professional, with five victories via KO/TKO and four via submission.
