The promotion announced the bout during the UFC 252 broadcast on Saturday night. Holm and Aldana were originally slated to meet in the UFC Fight Night 173 main event on Aug. 1, but the bout was postponed after Aldana tested positive for COVID-19. The card is likely to take place at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and also includes a featherweight tilt between Edson Barboza and Jeremy Stephens.
Holm, a former bantamweight champion, has won three of her last five UFC appearances. Most recently, the Jackson-Wink MMA staple took a unanimous decision over Raquel Pennington in a rematch at UFC 246 on Jan. 18.
Aldana has been on a roll of late, winning five of her last six in the Octagon. The 32-year-old Mexican bantamweight earned a signature victory in her last outing, as she knocked out Ketlen Vieira in the opening stanza at UFC 245.
