Kairat Akhmetov and Geje Eustaquio will square off for the interim flyweight crown in the headliner at One Championship “Global Superheroes” on Jan. 26.

The promotion recently announced the pairing. “Global Superheroes” takes place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Manila, Philippines, and will be available via pay-per-view online. Pongsiri Mitsatit will lock horns with Joshua Pacio in the co-main event.

Akhmetov and Eustaquio initially fought at One Championship “Total Victory” on Sept. 16, with Akhmetov winning a split decision. Akhmetov has lost just once in 22 professional outings, a five-round decision defeat to current 125-pound champ Adriano Moraes last August.

Eustaquio does not possess the gaudy record of his opponent. The 28-year-old Philippines native owns a 9-6 career mark and has never won more than two fights in a row over the course of his professional tenure.
