Invicta FC 21 Weigh-ins: Charmaine Tweet, Megan Anderson Cleared for Brawl

Invicta Fighting Championships, the world’s leading all-female mixed martial arts promotion, is back on Saturday night with its first event of 2017. Headlining Invicta FC 21 will be the interim featherweight championship between Charmaine Tweet and Megan Anderson.

With reigning featherweight queen Cristiane Justino not able to defend her title for myriad reasons, the main event was elevated to “interim” status last week. Anderson and Tweet both were flawless on the scale, looking as hungry as sharks for a chance at capturing gold and both were on the money. Anderson tipped the scale at 144.5 pounds while Tweet came in officially at 143.5.

Invicta FC 21 will go down inside the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo., and will be streamed in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
