Invicta FC 28 Lineup Includes Strawweight Title Fight, Pearl Gonzalez Debut on March 24

The full card for Invicta FC 28 has been released.

The event takes place at Union Event Center in Salt Lake City on March 24 and is headlined by a previously reported clash between Janaisa Morandin and Virna Jandiroba for the promotion’s vacant strawweight crown. In the co-main event, Mizuki Inoue will square off against Milana Dudieva at 115 pounds. Also noteworthy is the debut of two-time UFC competitor Pearl Gonzalez, who faces Kali Robbins in another strawweight affair.

The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Five other bouts were confirmed for Invicta FC 28: DeAnna Bennett vs. Karina Rodriguez at flyweight; Minna Grusander vs. Fernanda Priscila at atomweight; Kal Schwartz vs. TBA at strawweight; Kerri Kenneson vs. Chelsea Chandler at bantamweight and Jillian DeCoursey vs. Rebekah Levine at atomweight.

After suffering the first loss of her professional career against Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 25, Morandin bounced back to outpoint Kinberly Tanaka Novaes at Invicta FC 26 on Dec. 8. The 23-year-old known as “Evil Princess” owns a 10-1 career mark that includes five victories by knockout or technical knockout.

Jandiroba improved to 12-0 with a first-round submission of Amy Montenegro in her first promotional foray at Invicta FC 26. The 29-year-old Brazilian has finished 10 of her triumphs by way of submission.
