Invicta FC 32 Weigh-in Results: Featherweight Title Fight Set, Three Fighters Heavy

A new era at featherweight is set to begin, as Felicia Spencer and Pam Sorenson both received the green light to compete for the vacant Invicta Fighting Championships featherweight belt.

Sorenson hit the scales at 144.6 pounds, as she prepares to face the undefeated Felicia Spencer (143.7) for the featherweight strap in the Invicta FC 32 main event this Friday at the FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma. With that belt previously held by Cristiane Justino and Megan Anderson, both women vacated their belts to join the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Co-headlining the card will be a strawweight showdown between former Invicta FC strawweight title challenger Mizuke Inoue (*116.4) and four-time UFC competitor Viviane Pereira (115.4), with three of the four making weight without issue at Thursday’s weigh-ins.

Invicta FC 32, which airs live on UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, also features an atomweight battle between “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 23 competitor Ashley Cummins (105.2) and unbeaten Jessica Correa Delboni (105.1), a 150-pound catchweight contest between former Invicta FC matchmaker Kaitlin Young (150.5) and one-week notice replacement Sarah Patterson (**154.5), and a bantamweight tilt pitting Alexa Conners (136) against Julia Avila (135.8), although one of those matchups included a fighter that could not hit their proper marks.

Three fighters came in heavy at their respective weight classes: Inoue (116.4), Patterson (154.5) and Chelsea Chandler (136.6), with all three receiving 25% fines of their fight purses.
