James Gallagher vs. Callum Ellenor Booked for Bellator Dublin on Sept. 27

James Gallagher will return to the Bellator cage against Callum Ellenor when the promotion heads to Dublin on Sept. 27.

Bellator announced the bantamweight booking on Tuesday night. Gallagher vs. Ellenor will serve as the headliner for the Bellator Dublin card. More bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks for the event.

After suffering the first loss of his pro career to Ricky Bandejas at Bellator 204, Gallagher has rebounded with back-to-back triumphs over Steven Graham and Jeremiah Labiano in his last two outings. The 22-year-old SBG Ireland product is 9-1 as a pro, with seven of his wins coming by submission. A native of Sunderland, England, Ellenor submitted Nathan Greyson in the opening stanza of his Bellator debut on Feb. 9. “Cal Pacino is 8-2 as a pro, with all of his victories coming inside the distance.
