Jamie Moyle Suffers Injury, UFC 220 Bout vs. Maryna Moroz Canceled

Jamie Moyle has suffered an undisclosed injury, and as a result, her strawweight clash against Maryna Moroz at UFC 220 has been scrapped.

Promotion officials announced the cancellation on Wednesday. Saturday’s card will proceed with 11 bouts. UFC 220 takes place at TD Garden in Boston and is headlined by a heavyweight title tilt between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.

A four-time Invicta FC veteran, Moyle debuted in the Octagon with a decision win over Kailin Curran at “The Ultimate Fighter 24” finale before dropping a three-round verdict against Viviane Pereira at UFC 212.

Moroz had a two-fight winning streak snapped in her lone appearance of 2017, as she was outpointed by Carla Esparza at UFC Fight Night 112 on June 25.
