The Ultimate Fighting Championship's return to Poland continues to be ravaged by injuries, even during fight week.

British MMA veteran “Judo” Jim Wallhead has been forced to pull out of his welterweight affair with Brazil's Warlley Alves at UFC Fight Night 118 due to an undisclosed injury. MMAJunkie was first to report the withdrawal on Sunday evening.

The UFC is actively seeking a replacement to face Alves for the card, the promotion's second-ever card in Poland. UFC Fight Night 118 is set for this Saturday at the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, headlined by a 170-pound showdown between “Cowboy” Donald Cerrone and Darren Till.

The company has particularly struggled to keep the UFC Fight Night 118 card intact. Contractual issues nixed slated bouts between middleweight Polish star Michal Materla and “Marreta” Thiago Santos, originally intended to be the bill's main event, and light heavyweight Jimi Manuwa and Poland's Przemyslaw Mysiala. Furthermore, in the last two weeks, three other bouts have been altered due to injuries, due to scrapes suffered by Teemu Packalan, Dmitry Smoliakov and Trevor Smith.
