Jon Jones Sees 'Nice Guy' Johnny Walker As Future Challenger
Johnny Walker has made a big splash in his short time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship light heavyweight division, garnering attention for his lightning-quick knockouts as well as for his flamboyant celebrations. Now it appears he’s attracted the notice of the man at the top of the divisional totem pole, Jon Jones.

It seems “Bones” has taken a liking to the enigmatic 26-year-old who was first noticed while competing on the Brazilian edition of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
In a UFC 235 media scrum, Jones admitted he was impressed with what he’s seen so far of Walker, not just as a fighter but as a human being.
“Johnny Walker is somebody that I’m very aware of,” Jones said. “I know I’m gonna be fighting him sooner or later.”
The pair shared a pleasant encounter recently in Las Vegas as the fighters prepared to compete at UFC 235.
“And I just appreciate his energy,” Jones said. “He seems like a nice guy. He just radiates his happiness and his positivity, and it’s refreshing. He seems like the type of guy I’d go out and have a beer with. He’s cool. He seems cool… until we fight. And then after I beat him, he’ll be cool again.”
