A two-time winner on Dana White’s Contender Series, Espinosa will attempt to halt a two-bout skid in his matchup with De La Rosa. After outpointing Eric Shelton in his Octagon debut, the 30-year-old Luttrell-Yee MMA member has suffered back-to-back submission losses at the hands of Matt Schnell and Alex Perez.
De La Rosa, meanwhile is on a three-fight losing streak that dates back to March 2019. In his most recent outing, “Bumblebee” was knocked out in the second stanza by Raulian Paiva at UFC Fight Night 167 on Feb. 15. The 25-year-old Factory X representative began his pro tenure with nine straight triumphs but has since gone 2-4 within the Las Vegas-based promotion.
