Jordan Parsons will square off against Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154, promotion officials announced Friday.

The lightweight bout will be part of the tent-pole event’s main card. Bellator 154 takes place at SAP Center in San Jose on May 14 and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel between Phil Davis and Muhammed Lawal. In the co-main event, Josh Thomson faces Michael Chandler in a pivotal 155-pound matchup. The evening’s main card airs on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

Parsons began his promotional tenure with back-to-back victories but came up short in his most recent outing, losing a split decision to Bubba Jenkins at Bellator 146. The former Championship Fighting Alliance kingpin is 11-2 as a professional, with six triumphs coming inside the distance.

Piccolotti, meanwhile, is unbeaten in seven fights, including three wins under the Bellator MMA banner. Most recently, the 27-year-old Californian submitted Mario Soto with a second-round rear-naked choke at Bellator 147.

Ten bouts will round out the Bellator 154 undercard, which streams prior to the main draw on Bellator.com: Maurice Slade vs. Jorge Acosta at a 160-pound catch-weight; Victor Jones vs. Anthony Taylor at featherweight; Danasabe Mohammed vs. Martin Sano at welterweight; Josh Paiva vs. Steve Gruber at flyweight; Sam Spengler vs. Doyle Childs at welterweight; Josh San Diego vs. Jeremiah Labiano at bantamweight; Alvin Cacdac vs. Darren Uyenoyama at a 130-pound catch-weight; Thomas Diagne vs. Mark Dickman at featherweight and Stephanie Frausto vs. Jamielene Nievara at strawweight.
