A key featherweight bout is heading to Raleigh, N.C., as Josh Emmett will lock horns with Arnold Allen.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the pairing on Wednesday. UFC Raleigh goes down on Jan. 25 at the PNC Arena and will be headlined by a heavyweight scrap between Curtis Blaydes and Junior dos Santos.
Emmett is on a two-fight winning streak, with both victories coming by knockout or technical knockout. Most recently, the Team Alpha Male representative defeated Mirsad Bektic by first-round stoppage at UFC Fight Night 155 on July 13. He is 6-2 inside the Octagon and has won four of five since moving down to 145 pounds.
Allen, meanwhile, is 15-1 as a pro including a 6-0 mark in the UFC. He picked up the biggest win of his career at UFC 239, as he beat Gilbert Melendez by decision. The Englishman also has wins over Jordan Rinaldi, Mads Burnell, Makwan Amirkhani, Yaotzin Meza, and Alan Omer in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
