Arce replaces Charles Rosa, who had to withdraw from the featherweight contest due to injury. The promotion announced the new pairing on Wednesday. UFC 220 takes place at TD Garden and is topped by a heavyweight title bout between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou. In the co-main event, Daniel Cormier defends the light heavyweight crown against Volkan Oezdemir.

Anchored at Team Tiger Schulmann, the 28-year-old Arce enters his Octagon debut on a five-fight winning streak. He last appeared at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 5, where he stopped Peter Petties via technical knockout in the second round.

Ige, meanwhile, has been victorious in his last six bouts, including a third-round submission of Luis Gomez at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 3. Ige has also competed for promotions such as Titan FC, Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Championship over the course of his career.
