KSW 61 Weigh-in Results: Pudzianowski Has Five-Pound Advantage

By Tyler Treese Jun 4, 2021

Two of the most active fighters in Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki history will toe the line at heavyweight on Saturday.

Polish strongman and mixed martial arts star Mariusz Pudzianowski returns to KSW for the second time this year, where he will face Lukasz Jurkowski. The heavyweight headliner atop KSW 61 will see "Pudzian" hold a five-pound weight advantage over his opponent.

Riding a two-fight win streak, Pudzianowski (14-7) looks to continue pounding out his opponents with punches. "Pudzian" picked up TKO wins over Erko Jun and Nikola Milanovic in his last two outings. The 44-year-old officially weighed 254 pounds for the main event.

Jurkowski (17-11) hasn't fought since 2019, when he picked up a TKO win over Stjepan Bekavac due to a knee injury. Prior to that, the KSW 1 tournament winner was stopped by Martin Zawada and earned a split decision victory over Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou. Typically a light heavyweight, "Juras" stepped on the scale at a relatively massive 249 pounds.

KSW 61 will air live on KSW.TV and Fite.TV on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
