Kaitlin Young will receive a new opponent on short notice at Invicta FC 32 after Zarah Fairn dos Santos was forced off the card due to visa issues.

The promotion announced Monday that Sarah Patterson will step in for Dos Santos and face Young. Originally scheduled as a featherweight bout, Young vs. Patterson will be contested at a 150-pound catchweight.

Invicta FC 32 takes place at Firelake Arena in Shawnee, Okla., and is headlined by a featherweight championship clash between Felicia Spencer and Pam Sorenson. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Patterson will be making her promotional debut on a two-bout skid. She last fought in December, falling to Moriel Charnseki via second-round TKO at a regional event in Iowa.

Young, who previously served as one of Invicta’s matchmakers, returned to MMA after nearly four years off at Rizin 12, where she garnered a decision win over Reina Miura in August. That ended a five-bout winless streak for the 33-year-old Minnesota native. Young has fought the likes of Miesha Tate, Gina Carano, Liz Carmouche, Julie Kedzie and Leslie Smith over the course of her career.
