In the co-feature bout, Malaysia’s Hayatun Jihin Radzuan and Taiwanese fighter Jenny Huang took it to the judges’ scorecards. Radzuan displayed some high-level grappling skills, despite her background in muay Thai and kickboxing. She also showed a lot of heart, resisting a tight triangle choke attempt from her opponent in the last seconds of Round 2. In the end, the judges awarded Radzuan a fourth victory to open her thus far undefeated career.
Elsewhere, former One middleweight champion Vitaly Bigdash (10-2) submitted Yuki Niimura (12-5) thanks to a slick reverse triangle shoulder lock at 4:24 of the first stanza. In the opening bout of the main card, former Shooto strawweight champ Yosuke Saruta (18-8-3) handed former One strawweight champ Alex Silva (7-3) his second loss in the Singaporean promotion via unanimous decision.
On the preliminary card, Mei Yamaguchi (18-11-1) defeated Jomary Torres (4-2) via unanimous decision, Cambodia’s Chan Rothana (5-3) crushed Abrou Fernandes (1-1) via TKO at 4:06 of Round 2 and Savannah Nahry Em (3-0) smashed Iryna Kyselova (10-4) by first-round TKO.
