Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Kron Gracie will lock horns with former Bellator, Dream and K-1 talent Hideo Tokoro at Rizin Fighting Federation’s September event.

The promotion recently announced the bout, which will be contested at featherweight. A date has not been revealed for the card, but it will also feature the beginning of an open-weight tournament that will include former UFC and Pride Fighting Championships star Wanderlei Silva.

The event will take place at Saitama Super Arena in Japan. The promotion is expected to hold a press conference announcing further plans for the card in the near future.

The son of Rickson Gracie and a gold medalist in the 170-pound division at the 2013 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship, Kron Gracie was successful in his sophomore MMA venture, as he submitted Erson Yamamoto via first-round triangle choke at Rizin’s New Year’s Eve event. The 27-year-old made his professional debut in December 2014, tapping out Hyung Soo Kim with an armbar 65 seconds into their bout.

Tokoro is a 63-fight veteran who is coming off a first-round submission of Kizaemon Saiga at Rizin FF “Saraba no Utake” on Dec. 29. That halted a three-fight skid for the Japanese fighter, who notably fell to L.C. Davis at Bellator 135 in a 2015 “Fight of the Year” candidate.
