Kyle Noke to Face Dominique Steele at UFC Fight Night in Melbourne on Nov. 27

Kyle Noke will compete on home soil when he meets Dominique Steel at UFC Fight Night 101 in Melbourne on Nov. 27.

The Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed the bout on Thursday. UFC Fight Night takes place at Rod Laver Arena and is headlined by a middleweight rematch between Luke Rockhold and Ronaldo Souza.

Noke enters the matchup on a two-fight losing streak. The 36-year-old Aussie began his 2016 campaign with a split-decision loss to Alex Morono at UFC 195 before falling to Keita Nakamura via submission at UFC Fight Night “McDonald vs. Lineker” on July 13. The Jackson-Wink MMA representative is 6-5 during his promotional tenure.

Steele, meanwhile, has tasted victory just once in three Octagon appearances — a slam KO of Dong Hyun Kim at UFC Fight Night in Seoul last November. The former CES MMA champion is coming off consecutive defeats against Danny Roberts and Court McGee.
