A welterweight duel pitting Kyle Stewart against Jared Gooden will headline Legacy Fighting Alliance 59 on Feb. 1.
The promotion recently announced the card, which will take place at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix and airs on AXS-TV at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. In the co-main event, x-time UFC veteran Seth Baczynski will face Daniel Madrid at middleweight. Two other contests were confirmed for the main card: Andy Perez vs. Kevin Natividad at bantamweight and Emeka Ifekandu vs. Kyler Phillips at bantamweight.
Stewart has lost just once in 12 professional outings, a five-round decision defeat in a title bout against James Nakashima at LFA 46 this past July. He has since rebounded, outpointing Braden Smith at LFA 53 on Nov. 9.
The 25-year-old Gooden has compiled an 11-2 career mark while competing primarily for the National Fighting Championship promotion. Gooden went 2-0 in 2018, earning both of his victories by knockout or technical knockout.
