Professionalism was the name of the game for the LFA 109 weigh-ins, as all 16 fighters hit their proper marks.
The Legacy Fighting Alliance's first card of June will be headlined by a 160-pound catchweight bout between Terrance McKinney and Puerto Rican prospect Michael Irizarry.
McKinney (9-3) is the definition of an action fighter, as all of his 12 professional bouts have ended in a finish, win or lose. After back-to-back defeats to Darrick Minner and Sean Woodson, McKinney rebounded with quick knockouts of Dedrek Sanders and Luiz Antonio Lobo Gavinho. "T. Wrecks" officially weighed in at 160 pounds for his catchweight headliner.
Also riding a two-fight win streak is Irizarry (11-2). He's finished his past two opponents via rear-naked choke, and will look to add on to that streak in his promotional debut. "The Puerto Rican Powerhouse" also came in exactly at the catchweight mark of 160 pounds.
The LFA 109 main card will air live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. Two prelim bouts will air prior to that on the promotion's Facebook page at 8 p.m. PT/5 p.m. PT.
