At Thursday’s weigh-ins, everybody on the card was on point, giving the event the expected green light.
Anders has been on a tear since turning pro, having won every fight he’s been in. “Frankenstein” earned his title shot by knocking out Jon Kirk in a catchweight battle at LFA 6 in March. Anders came in officially at 184.2 pounds for his matchup with Allen, who has won five straight. Allen came in a few ounces heavier at 184.8 pounds.
In a matchup of unbeaten young lions, Rivera is coming off an impressive decision win over tough Zac Riley at LFA 10. Sanchez, meanwhile, submitted Klayton Mai at LFA 7 in March and the showdown for the vacant crown should be thrilling. Rivera came in at 125 pounds while Sanchez was lighter at 124.4.
LFA 14 will be televised live from Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas, beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
