LFA 71 Weigh-in Results: High Drama on the Scales

Legacy Fighting Alliance is headed to Atlanta, Georgia, for LFA 71, with enough weigh-in drama to last several events.

The new main event sees the vacant LFA welterweight belt on the line as Jason Jackson (169.6) faces Hemerson de Souza (169.6). Co-headlining the card is another welterweight bout, where Demarques Jackson (170.8) collides with Hugh Pulley (170.6).

LFA 71 goes down on Friday, July 12, live on AXS TV, with the main card beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The event also features a bantamweight battle between Devante Sewell (135.8) and Ary Farias (135.8). In the middleweight division, Tanner Saraceno (184.8) takes on Gregory Rodrigues (186). At welterweight, Tyler Ray (170.6) clashes with Pedro Paulino Vinagre ()*, and Paulino was unable to attend weigh-ins. In a 160-pound catchweight contest, Robert Hale (158.6) meets Zach Fears (160). Opening up the main card is another 160-pound catchweight bout, as Yemi Oduwole (160.2) scraps with Christopher Brown ()*, although Brown was also unable to attend weigh-ins.

Two fighters missed weight: Clay Harvison (157.8)**, who came in 1.8 pounds over the lightweight limit, and Leivon Lewis (146.6)***, who weighed in .6 pounds heavy for his opening featherweight prelim.
