In the main event, Jared Vanderaa (260.2) prepares to take on Renan Ferreira (248.8) at heavyweight. Vanderaa is riding a three-fight winning streak and looks to win his first fight in the LFA octagon in his third appearance. His opponent, LFA heavyweight tournament quarterfinalist Ferreira, lost in the opening round by disqualification to Brett Martin, after he repeatedly landed strikes to the back of his opponent's head. The co-headliner sees a bantamweight clash between Ryan Lilley (135.4) and Kevin Wirth (135.4).
LFA 74 airs live on AXS TV on Aug. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, and takes place at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium in Riverside, California. The card also features a middleweight bout between Moses Murrietta (182.8) and Lucas Rota (185.8). In the bantamweight division, Vince Cachero (135.4) locks horns with Liudvik Sholinian (136). Lightweights collide as Steve Kozola (156) takes on Salvador Becerra (156). At bantamweight, Anthony Jimenez (139)* scraps with Leandro Gomes (135.6). Opening up the main card is a lightweight tilt pitting Hunter Carlyle (156) against Matthew Colquhoun (155.6).
