LFA 80 Weigh-in Results: Headliner Steve Garcia Misses Weight

Legacy Fighting Alliance returns with its first event of 2020 on Saturday as LFA 80 goes down in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and two fighters have missed weight.

The main event will see two featherweights look to establish themselves as a potential title challenger as Bellator MMA veteran Steve Garcia (147.4)* will face off against Jose Mariscal (144.2). "Mean Machine" is coming off a big first-round TKO victory on Dana White's Contender Series and will look to show that he's worth picking up by the Ultimate Fighting Championship here. Standing in the way of Garcia is Mariscal, who rebounded from a knockout loss at LFA 65 with a knockout victory of his own in September.

Serving as the co-main event is a flyweight bout between Kendrick Latchman and Jerome Rivera. Latchman (124.4) will be looking get back into the win column as he was on the wrong end of a split decision against James Mancini in his last scrap. Meanwhile, Rivera (125.8) looks to build upon the momentum he gained after submitting Gene Perez to bounce back from the first two losses of his career.

The LFA 80 main card will air live on UFC Fight Pass on Jan. 17, with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
