LFA Confirms 7-Fight Main Card for LFA 10 on April 21, Ian Heinisch-Lucas Rota Headlines

Legacy Fighting Alliance now has an official main card for its 10th event, as the promotion heads backs to Colorado on April 21.

LFA officials confirmed on Monday a seven-fight slate for LFA 10, featuring a bout between undefeated Ian Heinisch and Brazilian Lucas Rota, as well as a co-feature pitting Nick Urso against Brandon Royval at flyweight.

The card, which takes place at the Massari Arena in Pueblo, Colorado and airs live on AXS TV, also features: a bantamweight contest between Zac Riley and 5-0 Jerome Rivera, a lightweight bout between 7-0 Dominic Montoya and Slobodan Maksimovic; Andrew Yates facing Andrew Tenneson at featherweight; a 135-pound scrap between Adam Martinez and Cuban Olympic wrestler Maikel Perez Gonzalez; and a 170-pound main card opener between NCAA Division I All-American wrestler Cody Yohn and Mike Jones.

Parker, Colorado's Heinisch is now 7-0 as a professional and was set to make his promotional debut against Rota at LFA 5 in February, the company's first trip to Colorado since its formation via the merger of Legacy Fighting Championship and Resurrection Fighting Alliance in January. Heinsich was injured during fight week, postponing the bout effectively eight weeks.

Rota has won eight of his last nine bouts with six stoppages in that span. His lone loss came to current Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight Gerald Meerschaert, who forced a doctor stoppage against the Brazilian at Titan Fighting Championship 34 in July 2015.
