Legacy FC 41 Weigh-in Results: Daniel Pineda, Jonny Carson Cleared for Headliner

The Legacy Fighting Championship 41 main event is official, as both Daniel Pineda and Jonny Carson hit their contracted marks at Thursday’s weigh-ins.

Pineda tipped the scales at 155 pounds, while Carson checked in at 155.2. Legacy FC 41 takes place at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tulsa, Okla., on Friday night and airs on AXS-TV beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.

A former two-division Legacy FC titlist, Pineda was a late replacement for the injured Anthony Njokuani. The seven-time UFC veteran has won his last two fights within the Texas-based promotion, besting Leonard Garcia and Thomas Webb in back-to-back outings.

Carson, meanwhile, will be making his first appearance since a unanimous decision triumph over Marcio Navarro at Xtreme Fight Night 12 on April 12, 2013. “The King of Late Night” owns an 11-6 career record, including eight triumphs inside the distance.
