LFA 11 will be held inside Comerica Theatre in Phoenix on May 5. Australian finisher Matthew Frincu will collide with Daniel Madrid in the evening’s main event in a middleweight bout.

Frincu, a veteran of the WSOF, has won three in a row and eight of nine overall. He’s coming off a unanimous decision win over Kris Hocum at LFA 5 in February and his sights are set on Madrid, who has been even hotter inside the cage. “Demigod” has won his last six, all via either submission or knockout. His last triumph came inside the KOTC cage against Daniel Hernandez, though it been over a year since he last competed.

Two weeks later, on May 19, the LFA will return to the Mystic Lake Showroom in Prior Lake, Minn., as the inaugural LFA welterweight champion will be crowned. Ben Neumann and former Legacy FC 170-pound champ Derrick Krantz will lock horns for the vacant title in the card’s headliner.

Since losing by decision to Dakota Cochrane at RFA 32 in November 2015, Neumann has been on a roll. “The Baker” has submitted the last three men he’s faced, with his latest conquest coming via third-round rear-naked choke against Damien Hill at LFA 2 in January. A winner of two in a row and five of six overall, Krantz is looking to build upon his LFA 4 decision win over Hayward Charles.

Both events will be televised live on AXS TV with coverage beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
