“The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 1” contestant Leonardo Mafra Texeira will make his second Octagon appearance against Rick Story on July 16.

“Macarrao” replaces the injured John Howard in the bout, the promotion’s Brazilian branch announced on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night “Cerrone vs. Miller” takes place at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J., and is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Donald Cerrone and Jim Miller.

Teixeira was stopped by Thiago de Oliveira Perpetuo via third-round TKO in his lone promotional appearance at UFC 147. Since then, the Brazilian has reeled off five straight victories via knockout or technical knockout. He was scheduled to face Wendell Oliveira Marques in Brazil on June 21 before the UFC came calling.

Story has alternated wins and losses in his last six outings. Most recently, “The Horror” suffered a split decision loss to Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 171 in March.
