The promotion announced the light heavyweight bout on Wednesday. UFC on ESPN 2 takes place at the Wells Fargo Center and is headlined by a lightweight tilt pitting Edson Barboza against Justin Gaethje. The card will air on ESPN network following early prelims on ESPN+.

Craig is 2-3 during his Octagon tenure, including a third-round submission loss to Jim Crute in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 142 on Dec. 1. The 31-year-old Scotland native is 10-3 as a professional overall, with nine victories coming by way of submission.

Nzechukwu scored a head-kick stoppage of Dennis Bryant on Season 2 of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series on Aug. 7 to earn a UFC contract. It was his second appearance on the show, as he also earned a split verdict over Anton Berzin on Season 1 of the Contender Series. The 26-year-old is 6-0 as a professional, with four wins by KO/TKO.
