Tim Amorim vs. Pedro Gonzalez

Round 1

Gonzalez opens the fight with a leg kick, then follows with a big overhand right that lands flush. Amorim attempts to slow down the pace by pressing against the ropes. Gonzalez turns the tables and pushes his opponent into the corner. They separate and Gonzalez lands another huge overhand right. Amorim eats it, then slows the fight down again. When the referee splits them up, Gonzalez lands his third right hand and drops Amorim, and then throws one more strike for good measure, it looked to be an illegal blow. Amorim stands at eight. Gonzalez trips his opponent. The two spend the final 30 seconds trading shots on the inside. A nice elbow from Gonzalez makes it through to end the round.

Round 2

The two men touch gloves to open the second. The referee pauses the action to take a look at a cut above Amorim’s left eye. A right overhand shot lands again from Gonzalez. Amorim follows up by closing the distance. Upon separating, Amorim lands two right hands of his own. A spinning back-fist attempt from Gonzalez wildly misses, Amorim trying to use kicks from the outside to avoid taking these shots, but Gonzalez managing to close the distance and manhandle his opponent. Back and forth action here in the second: Amorim is landing more shots, but they aren’t phasing Gonzalez. Amorim scores a nice trip following a wild overhand right from Gonzalez. The round concludes with a body shot that Gonzalez compliments with a big right hook.

Round 3

Gonzalez comes out in the third round flailing punches. Amorim kicks a leg out from Gonzalez. Nice boxing combination from Amorim scores; he follows with an elbow, winding up with his back to Gonzalez. Amorim tries to spin around with an elbow, but misses. Gonzalez seems to be growing tired, but hits four huge overhand rights that rock Amorim -- who is practically out on his feet -- the referee could easily start a count here, but doesn’t. Gonzalez absolutely going to town here, going to the body then scoring with the right hand that was there through the first three frames.

Round 4

The fight goes to the corner and Gonzalez hits a shoulder thrust, the referee mistakenly warns Gonzalez for a headbut. On the restart Gonzalez lands repeated elbows and combinations. Lacking any real rhyme or reason, referee Thomas Sconzo steps in seemingly out of nowhere and calls a stop to the fight. Not much objection from Amorim in a rather anti-climatic finish.

Andy Singh vs. Victor Saravia

Round 1

Dan Miragliotta will oversee the festivities here. Saravia opens the fight with a head kick attempt that Singh blocks. Singh leads with two elbows that score. Saravia is loading up on his shots here, putting everything he’s got behind them. Saravia lands a shot that has Singh falling backwards: he loses his balance but it’s not ruled a knockdown. Saravia continuing to throw the head kick. Triple jab from Saravia is followed with a elbow. Singh counters with a knee to the liver. Stiff leg kicks traded from each fighter. Singh lands a big punch to end the frame.

Round 2

Push kick from Singh scores early. Singh then attempts a flying knee that is avoided. Left-right combination lands from Saravia. Singh is switching between southpaw and orthodox stance, landing shots up top and then following with a body kick that lands with a thud. A Head kick from Saravia is blocked. Singh seems to be hurt. Saravia IS pouring it on here, smelling blood. Singh is bouncing off the ropes with his hands up. Saravia counters with a shot to the body,. Singh lands a knee. Tons of action here.

Round 3

Saravia forgets his mouthpiece as the round starts. Both men easing themselves into the round, throwing leg kicks, taking their turns with punching combinations. Singh is dictating the pace here, scoring with a solid push kick. There is a massive hematoma rising on the left side of Saravia’s head. Singh’s shots are getting through more frequently now. Left hook from Singh lands flush. Saravia counters with a huge right hand that drops Singh. Miragliotta steps in to start the count. Singh is up quickly, but the knockdown was the difference maker.

Round 4

Saravia gets cut on the hairline with a flying elbow from Singh. Blood is pouring down his face, as he continues pelting now with the right hand. Finally a head kick of Saravia’s gets through. Singh is back upright following a count, but Saravia steps in for the kill. Saravia goes all in, with shots to the body and head. Singh has his hands up but the flurry is too much to bear and this one is over: Miragliotta steps in and stops the contest.

Rami Ibrahim vs. Carlos Lopez

Round 1

This super lightweight contest is underway. Both men are throwing numerous leg kicks. Lopez is leading with a push kick to the knee of Ibrahim, the Palestinian fighter has yet to land much of anything early in the fight. Lopez throws a head kick that is blocked. Lopez with a right hook that scores. Ibrahim lands his first significant strike: it comes in the form of an overhand right, but it’s countered with an elbow from Lopez. Ibrahim throws a kick that is deemed below the belt and Lopez is given time from referee Thomas Sconzo to recoup. Lopez catches a kick from Ibrahim and throws a body kick that gets a rise out of the crowd. They return to their corners. Ibrahim puts his hands above his head in celebration.

Round 2

Big cut on the right shin of Lopez. Ibrahim gets caught with an elbow from Lopez, who then trips his opponent. When the fight resumes, Lopez continues walking forward while throwing tons of elbows. Lopez gets another throw to emphatically conclude the flurry. Lopez’s leg continues to bleed heavily, but it’s not hindering Lopez’s attack by way of elbows. Lopez catches a kick from Lopez and is able to land another body kick. Ibrahim lands a combination to close the round.

Round 3

Surprisingly Ibrahim has managed to not become cut after the amount of elbows he has absorbed. The third round opens with a head kick attempt from Lopez, Ibrahim is off balance and Lopez lands a kick below the belt. Sconzo doing a poor job of clarifying whether the fight is being paused for a low blow or not, once it’s clear the fight is back on, Ibrahim lands a huge one-two combination against the ropes. Lopez feigns like he is alright, but Ibrahim is imposing his will here. Ibrahim walking his opponent down to end the round, landing some impressive shots that likely stole the round.

Round 4

The fourth round opens with a solid right hand from Lopez. A liver shot lands from Ibrahim. The pace has visibly slowed here. Lopez’s corner has managed to stop the bleeding on his right leg. The fight winds up against the ropes as Ibrahim throws a pair of knees that score. A spinning back elbow from each fighter is thrown, then subsequently dodged as each man telegraphed prior. Lopez putting together his shots nicely here, going to the body then picking his shots by way of right and left hook. The round ends with Lopez pouring it on.

Round 5

Ibrahim is walking forward, but he walks right into an elbow for his efforts. Ibrahim throws a big shot to the stomach, but then quickly follows with a hook to the head. Ibrahim is doing a solid job of keeping his hands up, deflecting the elbows. Four or five punches glance the head of Lopez. Ibrahim is doing his part to take this fifth and final round. Lopez moves forward in the final 20-seconds, knocking his opponent down. Sconzo moves forward to seemingly start the count, but Ibrahim is immediately to his feet as the fight reaches it’s conclusion.

Brett Hlavacek vs. Cyrus Washington

Round 1

Washington starts off the bout with a big right hand. A roundhouse kick from Washington is caught by Hlavacek and he subsequently kicks the opposite leg out for a knockdown. Body shot from Washington scores. Hlavacek throws one perfectly -timed elbow that opens up Washington. The cut is in a bad place near the right eye. Left, right combination from Hlavacek scores. Hlavacek finishes the round with a punch-kick combo that sends Washington to his back. Miragliotta rules this a trip.

Round 2

Washington comes out in the second pressing the action. Washington had been doing a good job of being first, but eats an elbow. Washington completes a beautiful sweep. Hlavacek comes back with a right hook that catches Washington flush on the chin, Washington crumbles to the mat. Miragliotta starts the ten-count, but Washington is back up and clearly hurting from the shot. Hlavacek landing side knees to end the round, then follows with a left-right elbow combination that visibly upsets Washington.

Round 3

Hlavacek is in full control, landing at will here. Washington has over 80 muay Thai fights under his belt, so don’t count him out. Double right head kicks from Hlavacek land here. Washington throws a left kick but it’s caught. Hlavacek attempts to kick the other leg out, but fails. On the exit, Hlavacek lands another right elbow. The two men come together and fall to the ground. Washington lands with full force on Hlavacek. The round ends with both men throwing shots in unison.

Round 4

First significant strike in the round comes in the form of an elbow from Washington. The pair wrap each other up and Miragliotta splits them up. Washington drops his hands, looking to get Hlavacek to open himself up. Washington throws a wild kick, but winds up on the ground. Washington tries to land a running knee, they wrap up and Washington scores an elbow to the temple, stunning Hlavacek. Washington should capitalize here, but he looks tentative. The round ends with the two disengaged.

Round 5

Left hook from Washington lands to open the final round. The two wrap up and Washington lands two more elbows. The elbows are getting through for Washington here, as are knees when they are in the clinch. A huge overhand from right thrown by Washington glances off Hlavacek. The Polish fighter is really showing some fatigue, Washington doing his best to take advantage. Outside leg kicks from Washington, then follows with a huge elbow, Hlavacek showing signs of being stunned here. Washington attempts a throw, but winds up landing a knee. This one is going to be up to the judges.

Cosmo Alexandre vs. Jo Nattawut

Round 1

The fight starts out slow, with both men entering the clinch. Nattawut attempts to dump Alexandre but fails. Nattawut is throwing leg kicks but they are being checked by Alexandre. Again the men enter the clinch, Sconzo splits them up. Alexandre eats a push kick to the stomach, but he continues walking down his opponent. Good knee from Nattawut to end the round.

Round 2

The pace continues to remain slow. It’s worth mentioning that Alexandre has a mixed martial arts bout in four weeks for Legacy Fighting Championships. The two men enter the clinch and simultaneously throw knees. The men are going at it, but Sconzo steps in to break up the action. Nattawut throws a kick on the restart but Alexandre catch it, tries to follow up with a shot but misses. Nattawut’s kicks are being checked with great frequency. Again they enter the clinch and begin throwing knees. Alexandre ends the round with an outside leg kick, and then throws a punch after the bell that lands. Nattawut doesn’t seem to mind: he smiles.

Round 3

Alexandre still walking down his opponent, using the leg kicks and jabs to work the power shots. Out of nowhere, Alexandre moves forward and throws a big flying knee, but narrowly misses. Both men are remaining defensive: countering, not going for any move that will put them in danger. They enter the clinch, Alexandre gains momentum and successfully scores a dump. Alexandre and Nattawut turn it on in the final 15 seconds, engaging in a nice exchange that involved knees, kicks and punches.

Round 4

Crazy exchange 20 seconds into the round, Nattawut has his back against the ropes, Alexandre moves forward and throws a flying knee -- his momentum nearly pushed Nattwut out of the ring. Alexandre is using the jab now with regularity. Now Nattawut is moving forward. They enter the clinch and don’t engage so Sconzo splits them up. Alexandre lands a big right hook on the restart, wobbling Nattawut.

Round 5

Final round here -- a big knee from Alexandre to open the frame, Nattawut immediately grabs hold and they both start landing knees to the body. Sconzo allowing this to go on for the first time in the fight. Nattawut winds up quickly spinning and dumping Alexandre. Spinning back elbow from Alexandre glances. Nattawut tries to tie him up, but Alexandre pushes him into the corner and dumps Nattawut. Alexandre has Nattawut cornered here, throws a big overhand right that misses to end the fight.

Malaipet Sasiprapa vs. Justin Greskiewicz

Round 1

Malaipet opens with a left hook followed by a leg kick. Malaipet lands a right hand flush on the chin of Greskiewicz, dropping him to the mat. It was a beautifully timed shot. Malaipet is looking to finish this fight, Greskiewicz seems to have his head right and is weathering the storm. Greskiewicz is getting hammered with kicks to the body and shots to the head. Now a head kick attempt lands flush to the forearm of Greskiewicz. Malaipet has Greskiewicz on the ropes, all the shots have added up and the Philadelphia native is hurting.

Round 2

Malaipet goes right back at it to open the second. Greskiewicz is blocking the kicks but his forearms are taking a beating, the welts are showing here early. Greskiewicz is building up a little momentum here with the jab, and is beginning to land some shots. Malaipet looking to time his strikes here and land the overhand right. Brief stoppage for a prospective shot to the groin, but they go right back at it. Greskiewicz is returning fire with the right hand. Malaipet is doing so much damage with those leg kicks to the body.

Round 3

Both men are trading leg kicks. Greskiewicz tries to go high with a kick but gets dumped for his efforts. A jumping leg kick from Malaipet scores, as he just looks completely on top of his game here. Greskiewicz is showing signs of becoming tired, but out of nowhere begins a brief flurry that scores some points with the judges. He was unable to muster any elbows, but his punches were landing. Malaipet cracks a round kick, takes a step forward and emphatically throws Greskiewicz to the floor with a sickening thud.

Round 4

Greskiewicz has managed to open Malaipet up with his shots. Malaipet seems a bit tired here, but is doing what it takes to remain upright. Greskiewicz is firing back here in the fourth, now landing a big right hook to the temple of Malaipet. Greskiewicz is landing some solid uppercuts and hooks to take the round. It will be interesting to see if Greskiewicz has wore down Malaipet enough to garner a finish.

Round 5

Greskiewicz is finding his openings here early, landing a kick that garnered a smile from Malaipet. Greskiewicz is stalking Malaipet here, looking to land that big right hand. Now a left-right combination lands, but it doesn’t have enough power behind it. Malaipet is doing nothing in terms of offense here, as Greskiewicz lands a stiff overhand right. Uppercut elbow from Greskiewicz narrowly misses. A big kick from Malaipet is checked. Greskiewicz lands a big kick to the head as the fight comes to a close.
